خواتین و حضرات،

السلام علیکم

 واقعی، لوگوں، ثقافتوں اور خیالات کے سنگم کے خوبصورت شہر استنبول میں آج اس معزز سامعین سے خطاب کرنا بہت خوشی کی بات ہے۔

میں اس اہم تقریب کے انعقاد اور میزبانی کے لیے TUSKON کے صدر جناب رضانور میرل اور ان کی ٹیم کو تہہ دل سے خراج تحسین پیش کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ میں اپنے سامنے ایک دلیر، پراعتماد اور خوشحال ترک قوم کے معماروں کو جمع دیکھ رہا ہوں۔

 خواتین و حضرات،

 ترکی اور پاکستان کے درمیان گہرے تعلقات ہیں جن کی بنیاد دوستی اور بھائی چارے کے لازوال رشتوں سے ہے۔ پاکستان اور ترکی کے عوام کے درمیان صدیوں پرانی محبت اور پیار کی کوئی مثال نہیں ملتی۔ ہمارے پاس ایک روحانی میل جول ہے جس کی مثال علامہ محمد اقبال اور مولانا جلال الدین رومی کی شاعری سے ملتی ہے۔

خواتین و حضرات پاکستان کا توانائی کا وسیع شعبہ۔

خواتین و حضرات،

                کم قیمت مکانات کی فراہمی میری حکومت کا ایک اور ترجیحی شعبہ ہے۔ ہماری بڑھتی ہوئی آبادی کے ساتھ، مکانات کی مانگ میں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ اگلے پانچ سالوں میں، حکومت ملک بھر میں 500,000 نئے ہاؤسنگ یونٹس بنانے کا ارادہ رکھتی ہے۔

TOKI کے ذریعہ تیار کردہ سماجی رہائش کا ترک ماڈل ہمارے معاشرے کے پسماندہ طبقے کو یہ بنیادی ضرورت فراہم کرنے کے ہمارے وژن کی تکمیل کرتا ہے۔ میری حکومت جلد ہی مختلف ہاؤسنگ منصوبوں کا اعلان کرے گی اور میں ترک سرمایہ کاروں کو ان منصوبوں میں شرکت کی دعوت دیتا ہوں۔

تعمیرات اور بنیادی ڈھانچے کا شعبہ ہمارے ترقیاتی ایجنڈے کا ایک اور اہم عنصر ہے۔ آنے والے سالوں میں، میری حکومت ملک بھر میں نئی ​​ہائی ویز اور موٹر ویز بنانے، نئے ہوائی اڈے، شاپنگ مالز اور تھیم پارکس بنانے کا منصوبہ رکھتی ہے۔

اقتصادی راہداری جو چینی شہر کاشغر کو بندرگاہی شہر کراچی سے منسلک کرے گی، حکومت کے اہم ترین اقدامات میں سے ایک ہے۔ ہم ایک اعلیٰ معیار کی جدید ایکسپریس وے کی تعمیر کا منصوبہ رکھتے ہیں جو نہ صرف چین اور پاکستان کو قدیم سلک روٹ کے جدید مساوی کے طور پر جوڑے گا بلکہ پاکستان کے لیے چین سے وسطی ایشیا تک بے شمار اقتصادی مواقع بھی کھولے گا۔

ہم چھ لین موٹرویز کے نیٹ ورک پر بھی منصوبہ بندی کر رہے ہیں جو لاہور شہر کو کراچی سے ملتان شہر سے ملاتا ہے۔ اسی طرح کی جدید شاہراہیں دیگر اہم شہروں کو آپس میں جوڑیں گی، جس سے ملک کے گہرے اندرونی حصوں کو بے مثال اقتصادی ترقی اور ترقی کے لیے کھول دیا جائے گا۔

خواتین و حضرات،

                میری حکومت کا ایک اور اہم ترجیحی شعبہ شہری ترقی ہے جس میں جدید میونسپل خدمات کی فراہمی، سالڈ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ اور پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ شامل ہیں۔ ترکی کی کمپنیوں کے تعاون سے مکمل ہونے والے لاہور میٹرو بس اور سالڈ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پراجیکٹس کی کامیابی نے پاکستان کے دیگر شہروں کو بھی اس مثال کی پیروی کرنے کی ترغیب دی ہے۔

                ہمارے ملک میں ٹیکسٹائل کی صنعت برآمدی آمدنی کا بنیادی ذریعہ ہے۔ ہماری ٹیکسٹائل مصنوعات کی رینج وسیع ہے، معیار بین الاقوامی معیار کا ہے۔ ٹیکسٹائل کا بنیادی ڈھانچہ وسیع اور جدید ہے۔ معروف بین الاقوامی برانڈز نے پاکستان میں اپنے پروڈکشن ہاؤسز قائم کیے ہیں۔ ترکی کی ٹیکسٹائل کمپنیاں اپنی اعلیٰ تکنیکی صلاحیتوں اور سرمایہ کاری کی صلاحیت کے ساتھ اس شعبے کو مشترکہ منصوبوں کے لیے تلاش کر سکتی ہیں۔ سستے اور ہنر مند لیبر کے ساتھ مل کر کپاس کی بمپر پیداوار کی شکل میں خام مال کی فراوانی کسی بھی سرمایہ کار کے لیے ایک اضافی ترغیب فراہم کرتی ہے۔

خواتین و حضرات،

                میں آپ کی توجہ زرعی صنعت کی طرف بھی مبذول کروں گا جس میں سرمایہ کاری کے وسیع امکانات اور برآمدی مواقع موجود ہیں۔ پاکستان کی زرعی بنیاد مضبوط ہے اور یہ کپاس، گندم، چاول، گنا، دال، پھل اور سبزیاں پیدا کرنے والا دنیا کا سب سے بڑا ملک ہے۔

                پاکستان دودھ کی پیداوار میں عالمی درجہ بندی میں سرفہرست ہے۔ اس صلاحیت سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے، نیسلے نے ملک بھر میں دودھ کی پیداوار کے بہت سے پلانٹس کے ساتھ پاکستان میں دودھ کے استقبال کی اپنی سب سے بڑی سہولت قائم کی ہے۔ فوڈ پروسیسنگ ٹیکنالوجی میں مہارت رکھنے والی ترک زرعی کمپنیاں اس شعبے کو قدر میں اضافے اور اس ’سفید سونے‘ کو پنیر، مکھن اور خشک دودھ کے پاؤڈر میں تبدیل کرنے کے لیے بہت پرکشش محسوس کریں گی۔

ایک اور اہم شعبہ جہاں پاکستانی اور ترک کمپنیاں مل کر کام کر سکتی ہیں وہ ہے آئل اینڈ گیس سیکٹر۔ میں نہ صرف تلاش اور پیداوار بلکہ ریفائنریز اور پائپ لائنوں کی تعمیر میں قریبی تعاون کا منتظر ہوں۔

خواتین و حضرات،

نجی شعبہ ترقی کا انجن ہے۔ ہم ریاست سے ریاست کے روایتی تعلقات سے آگے بڑھ کر قریبی اور گہرے کاروبار سے کاروباری تعلقات کو فروغ دینا چاہتے ہیں۔ پاکستان ترکی جوائنٹ بزنس کونسل اور پاک ترک بزنس ایسوسی ایشن پہلے ہی اس مقصد کا مظہر ہیں۔ کل انقرہ میں ہمارے مختلف چیمبرز کے درمیان دستخط کیے گئے معاہدوں سے ہمارے دونوں نجی شعبوں کے درمیان رابطوں کو مزید تقویت ملے گی۔

پاکستان کے اہم شعبوں کی نمائندگی کرنے والے معروف پاکستانی تاجروں اور سی ای اوز کا ایک مضبوط وفد آج ہال میں موجود ہے۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ ان کے ترک ہم منصبوں کے ساتھ بات چیت ٹھوس اور ٹھوس تعاون کا باعث بنے گی۔

خواتین و حضرات،

ترکی کے ساتھ زیادہ سے زیادہ وسیع تجارتی اور سرمایہ کاری کے تعلقات رکھنے کی ہماری شدید خواہش ہے۔ صدر عبداللہ گل اور وزیر اعظم اردگان دونوں کے ساتھ میری ملاقاتوں میں، ہم نے اقتصادی اور تجارتی تعلقات پر بنیادی توجہ کے ساتھ طویل مدتی سٹریٹجک شراکت داری پر اتفاق کیا ہے۔ ہمارے مشترکہ وژن اور اہداف کو حاصل کرنے میں آپ کا کردار مرکزی اور اہم ہے۔

دونوں ممالک کے تاجروں کے درمیان قریبی روابط کو فروغ دینے کے ہمارے مشترکہ مقصد کو حاصل کرنے کے لیے ہمیں تعاون کے ایک مضبوط فریم ورک کی ضرورت ہے۔ اس تناظر میں، میں دونوں ممالک میں پاکستان-ترکی چیمبر آف کامرس کے قیام کی تجویز پیش کرتا ہوں۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ ہماری متعلقہ نیشنل فیڈریشنز فار کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری بہت جلد اس باڈی کے قیام کے لیے مل کر کام کریں گی۔

ہمارا وژن ایک نیا پاکستان ہے۔

یہ سال پاکستان میں جمہوریت کے لیے واٹرشیڈ ثابت ہوا۔ پہلی بار ایک منتخب حکومت سے دوسری حکومت میں پرامن تبدیلی ہوئی ہے۔

                اس سال مئی میں پاکستان میں ہونے والے تاریخی عام انتخابات میں پاکستانی عوام نے میری پارٹی کو واضح مینڈیٹ دیا۔ میں پاکستانی عوام کی طرف سے مجھ پر کیے گئے اعتماد اور اعتماد سے عاجز ہوں۔ اس سے وقار اور لگن کے ساتھ قوم کی خدمت کرنے کے میرے عزم کو تقویت ملی ہے۔

                پاکستان کو چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے۔ تاہم، صورت حال دیکھ رہا ہے. مجھے کوئی شک نہیں کہ ہمارا آج کل سے بہتر ہے اور آنے والا کل اور بھی روشن ہوگا۔ اس لیے میری حکومت کے سامنے ایجنڈا وسیع اور فوری ہے، جس کی توجہ پاکستان کے عوام کی فلاح و بہبود پر مرکوز ہے۔

ہماری اولین ترجیحات میں اچھی اور جوابدہ حکمرانی شامل ہے۔ ایک پرامن اور محفوظ ماحول کی تخلیق؛ اقتصادی بحالی؛ توانائی کی حفاظت؛ غربت کا خاتمہ اور نئی ملازمتیں پیدا کرنا۔

میری حکومت کا مقصد جی ڈی پی کو بتدریج 7 فیصد تک بڑھانا، زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر کو 20 بلین امریکی ڈالر سے زیادہ کرنا، عوامی قرضوں کو جی ڈی پی کے 57 فیصد تک کم کرنا اور جی ڈی پی کے تناسب سے سرمایہ کاری کو 20 فیصد تک بڑھانا ہے۔

 میں آپ کی توجہ اسٹینڈرڈ اینڈ پوور اور موڈی کی طرف سے جاری کردہ حالیہ ریٹنگ کی طرف مبذول کرواتا ہوں، جس میں انہوں نے پاکستان کو منفی 34 سے 2 کے مثبت ریٹنگ دے کر پاکستان کی معیشت پر اعتماد کا اظہار کیا ہے۔

 خواتین و حضرات،

 پاکستان جنوبی، وسطی اور مغربی ایشیا کے سنگم پر واقع ہے۔ 180 ملین سے زیادہ لوگوں کی مارکیٹ ہونے کے ناطے، نوجوان، تعلیم یافتہ اور ہنرمند افرادی قوت پر مشتمل ہمارا انسانی وسائل کا سرمایہ دنیا میں کسی سے پیچھے نہیں ہے۔ پاکستان قدرتی وسائل سے بھی مالا مال ہے اور غیر استعمال شدہ۔ سندھ میں ہمارے کوئلے کے ذخائر دنیا کے سب سے بڑے ذخائر میں سے ایک ہیں۔

یہ تمام فوائد ایک دوستانہ سرمایہ کاری کی پالیسی کے ساتھ مل کر پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کے لیے مثالی مواقع فراہم کرتے ہیں۔

ہمارا بنیادی مقصد تجارت اور سرمایہ کاری کے لیے سازگار ماحول پیدا کرنا ہے۔ ہمارے پاس ایک آزادانہ سرمایہ کاری کی پالیسی ہے، جس میں 100% ایکویٹی ملکیت، سرمائے کی مکمل واپسی، ٹیکس میں چھوٹ، پلانٹ اور مشینری اور خام مال کی درآمد پر کسٹم ڈیوٹی کی رعایتیں شامل ہیں۔ موثر انفراسٹرکچر اور ون ونڈو کی سہولت کے ساتھ خصوصی اقتصادی زونز قائم کیے گئے ہیں اور ایسے مزید زونز شروع ہونے والے ہیں۔

خواتین و حضرات،

سماجی و اقتصادی ترقی میری حکومت کی ترجیح ہے اور توانائی کا شعبہ اس سماجی و اقتصادی ایجنڈے میں سرفہرست ہے۔ ہم نے صوبائی حکومتوں کے اتفاق رائے سے توانائی پالیسی بنائی ہے۔ ہم توانائی کے شعبے کو متنوع بنانے کے لیے اقدامات کر رہے ہیں جن میں بجلی کی پیداوار میں اضافہ، بجلی کی تقسیم میں ٹیکنالوجی کا استعمال، لائن لاسز کو کنٹرول کرنا اور توانائی کی بچت شامل ہے۔

عہدہ سنبھالنے کے بعد ہم نے توانائی کی کمی کو دور کرنے کے لیے کئی اہم اقدامات کیے ہیں۔ یہ شامل ہیں:

تقریباً پانچ بلین امریکی ڈالر کی کلیئرنس، جسے عام طور پر گردشی قرضہ کہا جاتا ہے۔ اس کے نتیجے میں سسٹم میں 1700 میگاواٹ کا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

نندی پاور پراجیکٹ کو دوبارہ فعال کرنا جس سے نیشنل گرڈ میں 425 میگاواٹ کا اضافہ ہو گا۔

 

2117 میگاواٹ کی کل صلاحیت کے ساتھ دو سول نیوکلیئر پاور جنریشن پراجیکٹس کی مالیاتی بندش۔

969 میگاواٹ پیداواری صلاحیت کے ساتھ نیلم جہلم ہائیڈرو پراجیکٹ پر تیزی سے کام

داسو ڈیم اور دیامر بھاشا ڈیم جیسے بڑے منصوبوں پر کام کا آغاز۔

پاکستان کا توانائی کا شعبہ تھرمل، کوئلہ، ہوا اور شمسی شعبوں میں اپنی وسیع صلاحیتوں کے ساتھ سرمایہ کاری کے لیے تیار ہے۔ 5,000 میگاواٹ سے زیادہ کے بڑے منصوبوں سے لے کر چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے منصوبوں تک، مواقع وسیع ہیں۔

میں نے حال ہی میں گڈانی پاور پارک کا افتتاح کیا، جس میں 6600 میگاواٹ کی جمع صلاحیت کے ساتھ کوئلے سے چلنے والے دس پاور پلانٹس شامل ہیں۔ اسی طرح تھر کول فیلڈ کی ترقی پر تیزی سے کام کیا جا رہا ہے۔

سندھ میں ترکی کی زورلو انرجی کمپنی کا قائم کیا ہوا ونڈ پاور پلانٹ ایک سنگ میل کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ یہ منصوبہ مزید ترک کمپنیوں کو اس میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے کی ترغیب دے گا۔

پاکستان جس کے اندر امن ہے اور باہر امن ہے، خاص طور پر اپنے پڑوسیوں کے ساتھ؛ ایک ایسا پاکستان جو کاروبار دوست ہو۔ ایک ایسا پاکستان جہاں غیر ملکی سرمایہ کار خود کو محفوظ اور محفوظ محسوس کریں گے۔ ایک ایسا پاکستان جو جدید، ترقی پسند اور آگے بڑھنے والا ہو۔

 

آخر میں، میں آپ کو اپنی حکومت اور پاکستانی عوام کی طرف سے پاکستان میں وسیع مواقع تلاش کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہوں۔ میری حکومت ان ترک کمپنیوں کو مکمل سہولت فراہم کرے گی جو پاکستان میں کاروبار کرنا چاہتی ہیں۔ پاکستان میں ترکی کے منصوبوں کی نگرانی اور سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے میرے دفتر میں ایک خصوصی سیل قائم کیا گیا ہے۔

ہم ایک وسیع البنیاد تعلقات کے خواہاں ہیں جو نہ صرف دونوں ممالک کے لیے باہمی طور پر فائدہ مند ہو بلکہ ایک ایسی شراکت داری بھی قائم کرے جو ہمارے موجودہ بہترین تعلقات کو نئی بلندیوں تک لے جائے۔

Ladies and Gentleman,

Assalam-o-Alaikum

 It is, indeed, a great pleasure to address this august audience today in the beautiful city of Istanbul, a confluence of peoples, cultures and ideas.

I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to Mr. Rezanur Meral, President of TUSKON and his team for organizing and hosting this important event. I see assembled before me architects of a bold, confident and prosperous Turkish nation.

 Ladies and Gentleman,

 Turkey and Pakistan enjoy deep-rooted relations, underpinned by eternal bonds of amity and brotherhood. The centuries old love and affection that exist between the peoples of Pakistan and Turkey is unmatched. We have a spiritual communion exemplified by the poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Maulana Jallaluddin Rumi.

Ladies and Gentlemen  

This year has been a watershed for democracy in Pakistan. For the first time, a peaceful transition from one elected government to another has taken place.

                In the historic general elections held in Pakistan in May this year, the people of Pakistan gave a clear mandate to my party.  I am humbled by the trust and confidence reposed in me by the people of Pakistan. It has reinforced my resolve to serve the nation, with dignity and devotion.

                Pakistan has had its share of challenges. However, the situation is looking up. I have no doubt that our today is better than yesterday and tomorrow would be even brighter. The agenda before my government is therefore broad and urgent, focusing on the welfare of the people of Pakistan.

Our foremost priorities include good and accountable governance; creation of a peaceful and secure environment; economic revival; energy security; poverty alleviation and creation of new jobs.

The aim of my government is to increase GDP gradually to 7 percent, enhance foreign exchange reserves to over US$ 20 billion, reduce public debt by 57 percent of the GDP and to increase investment to GDP ratio to rise to 20 per cent.

 Let me draw your attention to the recent ratings released by the Standard & Poor and Moody, in which they have reposed confidence in Pakistan’s economy, by rating Pakistan from a negative of 34 to a positive of 2.

 Ladies and Gentlemen,

 Pakistan lies at the crossroads of South, Central and West Asia.  Being a market of more than 180 million people, our human resource capital comprising a youthful, educated and skilled workforce is second to none in the world.  Pakistan is also endowed with rich and untapped natural resources. Our coal reserves in Sindh are one of the largest in the world.

All these advantages coupled with a friendly investment policy offers ideal opportunities for investment in Pakistan. 

Our primary purpose is to create a conducive environment for trade and investment. We have a liberal investment policy, which includes, 100% equity ownership, full repatriation of capital, tax breaks, customs duty concessions on import of plant and machinery and raw materials. Special Economic Zones have been established with efficient infrastructure and one window facility and more such zones are in the offing.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Socio-economic development is the priority of my government and the energy sector tops this socio-economic agenda. We have formulated an energy policy with the consensus of the provincial governments. We are taking steps to diversify the energy sector including increase in power generation, use of technology in power distribution, controlling line losses and energy conservation.

After assuming office, we have undertaken a series of important steps to address the energy shortage. These include:

·         Clearance of nearly US dollars five billion, generally referred to as circular debt. This has resulted in the addition of 1700 MW to the system.

·         Re-activation of Nandi Power Project which will add 425 MW to national grid.

·         Financial close on two civil Nuclear Power Generation projects with the total capacity of 2117 MW.

·         Accelerated work on Neelum-Jhelum Hydro Project with 969 MW generation capacity

·         Initiation of work on mega projects like Dasu Dam and Diamer-Bhasha Dam.

The energy sector of Pakistan with its vast potential in thermal, coal, wind and solar areas is ripe for investment. From large projects of over 5,000 MW to small and medium sized projects, the opportunities are wide-ranging.

I recently inaugurated the Gadani Power Park, comprising ten coal-fired power plants with an accumulated capacity of 6600 MWs. Similarly, development of the Thar Coal Field is being fast-tracked.

The wind power plant established by the Zorlu Energy Company of Turkey in Sind represents a landmark. I am confident that this project would encourage more Turkish companies to invest in the vast energy sector of Pakistan.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

                Provision of low-cost housing is another priority area of my government. With our growing population, the demand for housing is increasing. Over the next five years, the government plans to build 500,000 new housing units across the country.

The Turkish model of social housing developed by TOKI complements our vision to provide this basic necessity to the disadvantageous section of our society. My government will soon announce various housing projects and I invite Turkish investors to participate in these projects.

The construction and infrastructure sector is another key element of our developmental agenda. In the coming years, my government plans to construct country-wide new highways and motorways, build new airports, shopping malls and theme parks.

The Economic Corridor that will link the Chinese city of Kashgar to the port city of Karachi, is amongst one of the most important initiatives of the government. We plan on building a high quality modern expressway that will not only connect China and Pakistan as a modern equivalent of the ancient silk-route, but also open up countless economic opportunities for Pakistan from China to Central Asia.

We are also planning on a network of six-lane motorways linking the city of Lahore to Karachi through the city of Multan. Similar modern highways will link other important cities, opening up the deep interiors of the country to unprecedented economic growth and development.

Ladies and gentlemen,

                Another important priority area of my government is urban development including provision of modern municipal services, solid waste management and public transport. The success of Lahore Metro Bus and Solid Waste Management Projects completed in collaboration with Turkish companies has inspired other cities in Pakistan to follow the example.  

                Textile industry is the main source of export earnings in our country. The range of our textile products are broad, the quality is of international standard. The textile infrastructure is vast and modern. Leading international brands have established their production houses in Pakistan. Turkish textile companies with their superior technical capabilities and investment capacity could explore this sector for joint ventures. The abundance of raw material in the shape of bumper cotton yields coupled with cheap and skilled labour provide an additional incentive for any investor.

 

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

                I will also invite your attention to Agro Industry with a huge investment potential and export opportunities. Pakistan has a strong agricultural base and it is world leading producer of cotton, wheat, rice, sugar cane, lentils, fruits and vegetables.

                Pakistan has a top global ranking in production of milk. Capitalizing on this potential, Nestle has established their largest milk reception facility in Pakistan along with many milk production plants across the country. Turkish agro companies with their expertise in the food processing technology would find this sector very attractive for value addition and conversion of this ‘white gold’ into cheese, butter and dry milk powder.

Another important area where Pakistani and Turkish companies can work together is the Oil & Gas sector. I look forward to close collaboration not only in exploration & production but as well as building refineries and pipe lines.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The private sector is the engine for growth. We want to go beyond the traditional state-to-state relations and develop close and intensive business-to-business relations. The Pakistan-Turkey Joint Business Council and PAK-TURK Business Association are already a manifestation of this objective. Agreements signed between our various chambers yesterday in Ankara would further strengthen contacts between our two private sectors.

A strong delegation of leading Pakistani businessmen and CEOs representing key sectors of Pakistan are present in the hall today. I am sure that their interaction with their Turkish counterparts would lead to concrete and solid cooperation.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is our earnest desire to have greater and more extensive trade and investment relations with Turkey. In my meetings with both President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan, we have agreed on a long term strategic partnership with the prime focus on economic and trade relations. Your role is central and vital in realizing our shared vision and goals.

To realize our shared objective of developing close contacts between the businessmen of the two countries, we need a strong framework of cooperation. In this context, I propose to establish a Pakistan-Turkey Chamber of Commerce in both countries. I am confident that our respective National Federations for Commerce and Industry would work together to establish this body very soon.

Our vision is a new Pakistan – a Pakistan which is at peace within and peace outside, especially with its neighbors; a Pakistan which is business friendly; a Pakistan where foreign investors would feel safe and secure; a Pakistan which is modern, progressive and forward looking.

In conclusion, I invite you on behalf of my government and the people of Pakistan, to explore the vast opportunities in Pakistan. My government will provide full facilitation to the Turkish companies which desire to do business in Pakistan. A Special Cell has been established in my office to oversee and facilitate Turkish projects in Pakistan.

We desire a broad-based relationship which is not only mutually beneficial for both countries but also create a partnership that elevates our existing excellent ties to new heights.
