صدر عبداللہ گل کی جانب سے کلمہوریت نشان عطا کرنے پر وزیر اعظم کے ریمارکس17 ستمبر 2013

عالیشان،

خواتین و حضرات،

یہ واقعی میرے لیے بہت بڑا اعزاز ہے کہ مجھے آپ کی طرف سے "جمہوریت نشان" سے نوازا گیا ہے۔

ترکی کے اعلیٰ ترین ریاستی اعزاز کے ایک وصول کنندہ کے طور پر، میں اپنے برادرانہ تعلقات کو آگے بڑھانے کے لیے اپنی عاجزانہ شراکت کے لیے دیے گئے اس اعزاز سے بہت متاثر ہوا ہوں، جو میرے دل کے قریب ہے۔

اس کے ساتھ ہی، یہ ایک مستقل عزم کی تجدید ہے، ہمارے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تعاون کے نئے مواقع تلاش کرنے کی طرف مسلسل اور انتھک محنت کرنا۔

عالی،

اس شاندار تقریب کی اہمیت اس کی علامت سے بالاتر ہے۔ یہ ہمارے تعلقات کی اس خاص اور منفرد نوعیت کی گواہی ہے جو ہمالیہ کی بلندیوں سے لے کر اناطولیہ کے میدانوں تک ہمارے دونوں لوگوں کے دلوں میں پنپتا ہے۔

تاہم، یہ رشتہ ماضی اور حال کا اتنا ہی ایک بیانیہ ہے جتنا کہ یہ دو جمہوریتوں کے لیے ایک عظیم مستقبل کا وعدہ ہے، جس میں ایک مشترکہ نقطہ نظر اور مشترکہ تاثرات ہیں۔

مجھے یقین ہے کہ اعلیٰ سطحی تعاون کونسل (HLCC) کے تیسرے اجلاس کے انعقاد کے ذریعے، ہم اس مقصد کی طرف ٹھوس قدم اٹھا رہے ہیں۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ آج شام کے بعد زیر بحث آنے والے وسیع پیمانے پر اقدامات ہمارے اسٹریٹجک تعلقات کے لیے ایک متحرک اور مستقبل پر مبنی گفتگو کی بنیاد رکھیں گے۔

آپ میں، معزز صدر عبداللہ گل اور وزیر اعظم اردگان، ہمارے مخلص بھائی اور شراکت دار ہیں، جو پاکستان اور ترکی کے تعلقات کے فروغ کے لیے یکساں جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ پرعزم ہیں۔

میں آنے والے دنوں میں ترک قیادت کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے کا منتظر ہوں، ہمارے دونوں ممالک کی اجتماعی بھلائی اور ہمارے تعلقات کو بلندیوں تک لے جانے کے لیے۔

Excellencies,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

It is indeed a great honour for me to have been bestowed with the “Jumhuriyet Nishan” by Your Excellency.

As a recipient of Turkey’s highest state decoration, I am deeply touched by the exalted recognition granted for my humble contribution to furthering our fraternal relations, a calling close to my heart.

At the same time, it is renewal of an abiding commitment, to work continuously and untiringly, towards exploring new vistas for cooperation between our two countries.

 

Excellency,

The significance of this graceful ceremony goes beyond its symbolism. It is a testimony to the special and unique nature of our relationship that thrives in the hearts of our two peoples, from the heights of the Himalayas to the plains of Anatolia.  

 

This relationship is, however, as much a narrative of the past and the present as it is a promise of a great future for two democracies, with a common outlook and shared perceptions.

 

I believe that through the holding of the 3^rd Meeting of the High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC), we are taking concrete steps towards that end. I am confident that the wide-ranging initiatives that will come under discussion later this evening will lay the foundations for a dynamic and future oriented discourse to our strategic relations.

In You, Excellency President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan, we have sincere brothers and partners, who are committed with equal zeal, to the promotion of Pakistan-Turkey relations.

I look forward to working closely with the Turkish leadership in the days ahead, for the collective good of our two countries and taking our relationship to great heights.
